The Cala Silente, a Vermentino di Sardegna DOC, stands out for its origin from the finest Vermentino vineyards with optimal planting density and yield per vine. The soils in these areas tend to be moderately heavy, sandy, and loamy. These conditions create ideal circumstances for the development of Vermentino grapes.

Harvesting for the Cala Silente begins in early September and extends until early October. During this time, the grapes are carefully handpicked and re-selected at the winery before undergoing further processing in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (16-18 °C). After completing the alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures in cement tanks with its own yeast, imparting it with a special harmony and depth of flavor.

The Cala Silente presents itself in a bright straw yellow with shimmering green-golden reflections. Its bouquet is complex and intense, characterized by aromas of apple, peach, and citrus fruits. On the palate, it displays a natural, enduring freshness complemented by a fine balance.

For optimal preservation, this exceptional Vermentino is best stored at a constant temperature of 17 °C, with a humidity level of 75-80%, in a dark place and in a horizontal bottle position. Serving the Cala Silente is best done in medium-sized glasses with a medium-sized opening at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
