Mamuthone, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC

The Cannonau di Sardegna Mamuthone di Sedilesu originates from the vineyards of Mamoiada, Nuoro. It is exclusively crafted from Cannonau grapes harvested in October. After a spontaneous fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in Barriques and another 6 months in the bottle before hitting the market. This bright ruby-red wine captivates with fruity notes of Marasca and cherries, complemented by pleasant hints of roses and eucalyptus. On the palate, it impresses with its smoothness, warmth, and fresh, robust tannins. A perfect companion to red meats and game, but also an excellent choice paired with aged cheese.
